Ile de France

The Ile de France is a UK Style pool table supplied with a 2-inch diameter English pool table size as standard. Depending on its size this model table can be supplied with various slate bed types in either 1pc or 3pc versions over the size range from 7ft, 8ft, and 8ft 6 Inch models.

Featured in the Billiards Montfort Traditional Tables range this high-quality French-manufactured table is produced from Beech or Oak hardwoods. Its classical French design can be finished in a wide variety of coloured finishes to enhance the natural beauty of the woodgrain or modernise its look with high gloss options also onto the wood.

Made from solid hardwood the Legs, Frame, and Cushions fix directly onto the internal metal sub-frame with the cushions then bolting into the genuine slate bed. The result of this is an extremely solid and stable playing surface with highly responsive cushions, the combination of these features leads to the highest quality of play on these premium tables.

Simonis 760 Cloth Colours - This premium quality cloth is usually used for American Pool or by players that want the fastest speed from their table. 

Hainsworth Smart Cloth Colours - This UK-manufactured cloth is a traditional napped pool cloth made by A W Hainsworth & Sons. This type of cloth is most often used on English Pool tables. 

Pool Balls Types and Sizes:

 The Aramith Red & Yellow Pool balls 2-inch diameter balls are used for playing English Pool.

 Aramith Spots & Stripes engraved balls are used for English pool in the 2 Inch size & American Pool in the 2-1/4-inch diameter ball. 

Table Sizes, Measurements & Specifications:

Ball Return:
Bucket Pockets: As standard, the Lewis table is supplied with drop pockets where the balls gather once potted.
Ball Return System: An optional extra with the Lewis table is that it can be fitted with a clever, ball return option fitted underneath the table. This can be hidden when not in use and conveniently gathers the balls into one area during play for easy access. 

Table Finishes: The Lewis table is produced in an extensive range of different finishes, see attached examples of that many options are available. By selecting a code prefixed with the letter C a table will be produced from solid Oakwood whereas choosing a table with the letter H in the code will change the wood to Beech. 

Pearl Sights: Why not give your new pool table the authentic American look by adding inlaid sights to the cushion rails to help you make those all-important Bank Shot (Double) Available in either Pearlescent, Black or Silver Metal these sights are expertly fitted and perfectly recessed into the cushion cap. 
Pool Dining Tops: To make the most of the space the Lewis table occupies why not add a dining top which allows for a quick change from playing pool to a great-sized dining table? The top is specially designed to sit on top of the tabletop frame, with protection underneath it won't mark or scratch the table surface when in use. 

You can choose between the following versions:

• Standard top in a matching finish in a 2-piece or 3-piece design.
• Tops fitted with clear glass panels produced in 2-piece versions
• Tops fitted with frosted glass made in 2-piece options.
• Various different decorative finishes and styles.

Optional Benches: To make the very most of the excellent use of space that the Lewis Pool Dining table offers why not add on some made-to-measure benches? These benches are also produced by Montfort in their factory and can be finished off exactly the same as the table itself. Their real benefit is in the fact that when it's time to play pool they store neatly underneath the pool table itself which removes the need to move store chairs everywhere. 

Benches can be purchased individually or as a pair with upholstery and cushioned seating as options on these, a fantastic addition is the ability to add internal storage to the Bench for a safe and secure place to put the pool cues, balls and accessories when not in use.
