Choosing a Snooker Cue – Free professional advice
Choosing a first snooker cue or upgrading to a higher specification one is a very individual and completely personal choice that in our opinion warrants time being spent on. The Billiard Company is owned by ex-professional World Snooker Association members John Benton and Darren Lennox who spent several years competing on the professional snooker circuit in the UK. The experience gained during this time puts us in the unique position of being also to offer sound, knowledgeable advice to anyone considering buying a new snooker cue. Whether you are a novice just taking up the game or a seasoned century break player we would be delighted to help with that all important choice.
Try it out before you decide to buy
With our showrooms conveniently located in the heart of Dublin City Centre at 111 Marlborough Street, Dublin 1. (50 yards from the Abbey & Marlborough Street Luas Stops) you can call in and browse through our selection with as much or as little attention from us as you require. We encourage everyone to ‘try before you buy’ on one of our showroom snooker tables which is a real benefit in help choosing the right one. Leaving our showroom’s with your new snooker cue you will be sure that you have made the right choice and found one that suits you best.

Cue Repairs
Re-tipping a snooker cue can be a tricky part of its ongoing care and we are more than happy to help with this. You can drop your cue into us to have a new tip expertly fitted by our qualified staff, we also offer an extensive snooker cue repairs and alterations service from new ferruling and shaft tapering to fixing loose weights or joints to even cue straightening. We don’t charge to checking over your cue so should you have any concerns simply bring your cue into to showrooms and we would be happy to look over its condition free of charge.
Whichever of our cues you choose to purchase it will fulfil our strict criteria of quality, craftsmanship and design which will allow it to become an integral part of your game, and with appropriate care can become a timeless classic to treasure and enjoy.
